10/5: Clean Dream Act
Nearly 8 in 10 registered voters and 7 in 10 registered Republicans believe Dreamers should be allowed to remain in the United States legally. Dreamers refers to the 800,000 young people who came to the country as children and have pursued higher education, earned better wages to support families and have become integral members of American communities throughout the country. When Trump and his administration killed DACA (Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals) young Dreamers futures were threatened with deportation and family destruction.

SUGGESTED MEMBER SCRIPT
“Hi, my name is …, I’m a constituent from “i.e., Durango” zip code 81***. I support the Clean Dream Act and urge you to vote for it. Please join your colleagues, Representatives Mike Coffman and Senators Gardner and Bennet in supporting this legislation. This bill pushes congress to vote on finally creating a pathway to citizenship and ensures that Trump’s Border Wall is not attached to the legislation.
Thank you for your time and attention.
