09/09/18: Defend Durango’s Homeless

ACTION:   Communicate with Durango City Council about safety concerns of the homeless community due to: 1) potential health risks associated with the dog park at the former uranium mill, and 2) ceasing the requirement for the homeless to set up and break down their tents every day.

8/24: Stand up for Tolerance and Diversity

On August 11, 2017, at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, a “Unite the Right” Rally occurred. A white supremacist used his car to mow down counter protestors, killing one woman, injuring 20 others, and two police officers monitoring the rally died in a helicopter crash.
