WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL

Hosted By CITIZENS’ CLIMATE LOBBY – Durango Chapter

Where: Durango Arts Center, 802 E 2nd Ave, Durango

Cost: 1:00 pm show $12 and 4:30 pm show – $15

When: Sunday, February 9th, 1:00 pm & 4:30 pm (Doors open at 1:00pm and 4:30pm.) The shows run from: 1:30 – 3:30pm and 5:00 – 7:30pm.

Description: The Durango Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby is hosting a Wild & Scenic Film Festival to raise funds to send two students to the Citizens’ Climate Lobby Day and conference in June 2020. These students will join the Colorado delegation to meet with legislators on Capitol Hill to lobby for legislation to place a fee on carbon with a dividend returned to U.S. Households, specifically the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (HR 763).

There are two distinct film programs, each with a longer – feature film and numerous short films. Many of the films involve climate change and climate solutions. The feature film at the 1:00pm showing is “The Trouble With Wolves” and the feature film at the 4:30pm showing is “Living in the Futures Past. “

The doors open at 1:00pm and at 4:30pm. Please arrive when the doors open.

The shows start at 1:30pm and 5:00pm. The 1:30pm show goes from 1:30 – 3:30pm.

The 5:00 pm show goes from 5:00pm – 7:30pm.

To Purchase tickets: durangoccl.org $12 for the 1:00pm show and $15 for the 4:30pm show. For each show, you can pay $50 for 2 tickets and reserved seating. This will help CCL raise funds for the student scholarships.
