Redistricting is the regular process of adjusting the lines of voting districts in accordance with population shifts, done every ten years following the decennial census.  For Congressional District #3 (CD3), this means redrawing legislative district lines which will effect the US Congressional election outcomes for the next ten years.  Currently the CD3 Representative is Republican, Lauren Boebert and will be up for re-election in 2 years.  “In the modern era of redistricting, all district lines must be reviewed after the census to meet strict requirements for population equality and voting rights protections.”
