WHEN IS MEMBER TO CALL OR WRITE : ASAP (The bill was introduced to the Senate on 6/28/17)

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT:

This bill would lock in dependence on fossil fuels for decades to come, hopelessly undermining efforts to stave off the worst effects of climate change. The bill would speed approval of exports of liquefied natural gas, give FERC new authority in approving pipelines, and authorize hundreds of millions of dollars to explore for methane hydrates. On top of that, the “Renewables” section of the bill doesn’t even mention solar or wind energy! We can’t afford an energy bill that is so wrongheaded.
